Indo-Canadian Rap Duo Cartel Madras signed by Sub-Pop

Calgary based Indo-Canadian sisters Bhagya Ramesh and Priya Ramesh have been signed up by a Sub-Pop record label.

Born in Madras and raised in Calgary, Bhagya and Priya go by their stage names Eboshi and Contra. The band is called Cartel Madras and duo calls their music “Goonda Rap”.
